Reb Babcock
Reb has lived in the American west since 1978, moving from Illinois to answer the call of the mountains he remembered from his early childhood in Colorado. He took up photography as a hobby in the early 1980’s and has been photographing the western United States, Canada and Alaska ever since. Reb enjoys all aspects of nature photography, including wildlife and close-ups along with the big views of the western and northern landscapes. His favorite subjects, though, are the intimate scenes within landscapes that show the color and diversity of the mountains, coastal areas and deserts many of us call home.
His hope is that, through his images, others may gain appreciation for the beauty of the natural world and support protection of the earth’s spectacular natural areas.
Reb and his wife, Romain, live in Buena Vista, Colorado.
